Introducing

Hello, we are Lloyd and Jayne. Lloyd is a librarian and administrator and in the final year of a Masters of Rural and Town Planning, but his passion is music. He conducts a country band and is an accomplished musician, learning the cornet as a child as a member of the Salvation Army. He is the son of two Majors in the Salvation Army. Jayne works with organisations to improve health and wellbeing within the community. Her degree is in welfare. Although she plays at trombone playing, she is not very accomplished.

About Our Home

We live in a duplex in a quiet part of Alice Springs. A beautiful part of Australia and located almost in the centre. Nearby are attractions such as Uluru (Ayer's Rock), Kings Canyon, The Olgas and so on. It has a clear dry heat most of the time and ranging between 28 - 44 degrees celcius. Our home has a queen bedroom, one bathroom and two study's an open plan kitchen/dining and lounging area. An outside covered verandah with an electric BBQ. Undercover car parking and a self contained granny flat.

Our Location

Alice Springs is in Central Australia, six hours from Uluru and about the same from Kings Canyon. It is situated in sight of the MacDonnell Ranges and is breathtaking. A mecca for photographers, astronomers and people interested in the desert. The region has predominantly an Aboriginal population with many handicrafts and paintings, digeridoos and so on for sale in both retail and from individuals. Many tourist attractions at your doorstep, including The Royal Flying Doctor Service, The Trucking Hall of Fame and many more.
