My partner Dario, son Finn (2 years old) and I live in Rapid Creek, Darwin. Our 2 bedroom duplex is in a friendly small court and a 5 minute walk to the beach and Nightcliff coastline which has several evening food options including wood fired pizza, American wings, fish and hot filled potatoes. There is paddle boarding on weekends, bicycle paths all the way into town, cross-country mountain bike tracks and Marrara sports complex close by. We are 5 minutes from the airport and closest supermarket, and 15 minutes to Darwin City. Litchfield National Park is just over one and half hours south, and Kakadu is three hours away. Dario was born in Tuscany, Italy and I am a local Darwinian. We are young professionals, keen sportspeople and love travelling. We have two cars, two adult bikes (with a child seat on one), a toddlers balance bike and child trailer for use as a pram or for attaching to a bike. We would love to hear from anyone interested in a house swap. We plan to travel to Europe, the United States of America, Western Australia (south coast), Tasmania and New Zealand. We can be flexible if the house swap dates don't match up with our travel dates, as we have family in Darwin we can stay with.
About Our Home
Surrounded by tropical gardens, our quaint duplex is tucked away at the end of a small and quiet court. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with bunk beds. A large sun room looks out onto the backyard and there is room for children to play within a fully-fenced yard. Our home is a good base to explore Darwin, visit friends and family, or for a relaxing break - with everything including the CBD within a easy 15 minute drive.
