We are a young family of 6! Our children are 7, 4, 2 and 1! I am currently on leave from my fudge business and my husband is a civil engineer. We enjoy outdoor living, fishing, hiking, gardening and we have always loved to see new places and experience new things! Our au pair (nanny) who may or may not be travelling with us (sometime they like to have time out and go on their own adventure).
About Our Home
Whether it be a peaceful country escape or to explore Toowoomba's beautiful parks, garden, walking tracks, range views, markets or multitude of cafes, we are sure you will enjoy this large family home. Located just 5 mins from the "Garden City" this 4 bedroom home is on 3 private acres in a quite location with rural views. The block backs onto farm land and we regularly have cow, kangaroos and plenty of native birds visit. We keep chickens, turkeys and my husband enjoys growing vegetables. Help yourself to fresh eggs, vegetables and herbs. With 2 living area, 4 bedrooms (2 Queen beds, 3 single beds, 1 trundle and 2 cots), 1 office (currently another bedroom), 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, internet, air-con, wood heater, netflix and outdoor BBQ area makes this home good for families big and small. Kids will love the freedom of climbing trees or bike riding! We also have a cubby house, sand pit, trampoline and swing set. Nights outside by the fire, toasting marshmallows while soaking up the view are also a hit! In September "Toowomba Carnival of flower" and "The Food and Wine" festival is on. If you are interesting in swapping at this time we may be able to arrange it! http://tcof.com.au/ (For more details) The chooks, Turkeys and fish tanks we do have are all self-sufficient and won't require your attention. Unless of course you would like too! ;)
